Report: AC Milan rival Spurs for midfielder’s signature

Tottenham Hotspur haven’t added a new player to their squad since Lucas Moura moved from PSG to Spurs at the end of January 2017.

With Mousa Dembele leaving the club last month and the likes of Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen likely to leave the club on a permanent basis this summer, Tottenham will certainly need to add reinforcements to the squad.

One player who has been linked a move to Spurs is Porto midfielder Hector Herrera.

The 28-year-old, who has been one of Porto’s most consistent players in recent years has had yet another impressive season for the Portuguese giants, racking up five goals so far this campaign.

According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan have now entered the race to sign the Mexican midfielder.

The report claims that Tottenham and Inter Milan both remain interested in securing the wide player’s services.

Herrera’s contract with Porto runs out in the summer and the 28-year-old will be free to join any club.
