Report: Adarabioyo could make a decision next week as one club pulls out of race

HITC have revealed that West Ham United have turned down the chance to sign Tottenham target Tosin Adarabioyo, who is expected to decide on his next destination shortly.

The report names Tottenham, Newcastle and Chelsea as the three clubs plotting to sign Adarabioyo on a free transfer this summer. However, they claim that West Ham have made it clear they are not in contention to sign the player.

It is revealed that the 26-year-old’s entourage approached the Hammers but were shocked to learn that they had no intention of making a contract offer for the Englishman.

Adarabioyo wants game time – Decision coming soon

HITC say that the Fulham star could make a final decision on his next club as early as next week.

The centre-back’s main consideration is said to be regular first-team football, with the player having made it clear to interested parties that he wants to be a starter.

The publication adds that this gives the Magpies an advantage over the likes of Tottenham and Chelsea since Eddie Howe’s men are on the lookout for a first-choice central defender.

If I were in Adarabioyo’s shoes, there is no way I would choose to go to Tottenham, particularly given how much Radu Dragusin has struggled for game time since arriving at Hotspur Way in January.
