Report: Adrien Rabiot chooses his next club

Tottenham Hotspur were linked with many players across the last two transfer windows, but that didn’t prevent them from becoming the first Premier League side in history not to sign a new face across an entire season.

Pochettino and Levy decided to lump for a settled squad, and it seems to have counted in Tottenham’s favour in the long run.

One man who Spurs have been linked to time and time again is PSG’s wantaway midfielder Adrien Rabiot (Sun).

The French star has been frozen out of Thomas Tuchel’s squad after he refused to sign a new contract this season.

This means that Rabiot will be available on a free come the summer, effectively giving him the choice of any club willing to pay his wages.

Unfortunately for Spurs, it appears Rabiot has his heart set on Barcelona, and the Spanish giants are similarly interested in brining him into the club.

Le Parisien report that Rabiot has already verbally agreed a deal for a £170,000 per week contract.

Barca confirmed their interest back in December with this statement (Mirror): “The only contact made was during the month of August and one week ago. In both cases, this contact was made with PSG’s sporting management to show FC Barcelona’s interest in player Adrien Rabiot.”
