HITC have now claimed that Tottenham’s pursuit of Antonio Nusa is ‘progressing well’ and is expected to be concluded swiftly.
Some Spurs fans might be growing rather restless at the fact that the Nusa deal has not been concluded even though the Premier League side have seemingly been in talks with Club Brugge for a couple of weeks.
However, over the last few days, various publications have suggested that the deal is on track and that Tottenham are confident of winning the race for the player (TEAMtalk).
Talks progressing well between Spurs and Club Brugge
The latest such update comes from HITC, who say that the negotiations between the Belgian side and the Premier League club are progressing as hoped.
The outlet reveals that those with knowledge of the situation say that Spurs are ‘happy’ with where the deal is at, with a total agreement between the sides ‘not far away’.
HITC add that they have also heard from their sources that Nusa is delighted to be joining Tottenham and is ready to commit to a long-term deal with Ange Postecoglou’s men.

With Tottenham having seemingly put quite a lot of groundwork on this deal, one would expect them to get this over the line soon. However, it looks increasingly likely that Nusa would be the final signing of the window and the pursuit of a number eight will be postponed until the summer.
