Report: Alasdair Gold reveals Harry Kane boost ahead of Norwich match

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane trained with the rest of his teammates earlier today ahead of the club’s Premier League match against Norwich City, according to Football.London.

Antonio Conte has played down reports of an illness outbreak in the Tottenham squad at Friday’s press conference and insisted that the England captain would be fit to face the Canaries in the match which could confirm the club’s place in the Champions League next season.

Former Spurs forward Gary Lineker had sparked speculation among the north London fanbase when he took to Twitter to claim he had heard that there had been a food poisoning outbreak within the club.

Kane had withdrawn from a personal appearance on Friday at the Museum of London where he was set to open an exhibition held in his name.

Alasdair Gold has claimed that Kane was present during Conte’s last session at Hotspur Way ahead of the trip to Carrow Road.

Kane’s availability is a huge boost for Spurs who will be looking to leave no stone unturned and secure all three points as early as possible in the match to avoid any last-day disaster which if everything goes against them, would see rivals Arsenal take fourth place from under their noses.
