Report: All you need to know about the FA Cup quarter-final draw

Tottenham Hotspur can briefly take their minds off the Premier League as Jose Mourinho’s men travel to Goodison Park for the FA Cup fifth-round clash against Everton on Wednesday.

Spurs are still going strong in all three cup competitions, having booked their place in the final of the Carabao Cup and the knockout stages of the Europa League.

A win over the Toffees on Wednesday would see the North Londoners progress to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Here’s all you need to know about the quarter-final draw (via Football.London):

When: The draw will be held after Wolves’ fifth-round tie against Southampton on Thursday at around 7.45 pm UK time. However, the timing of the draw may be pushed back if the game at the Molineux goes into extra time.

Where: Spurs fans in the UK can watch the draw live on BT Sport 1, while it can also be viewed live via the official Emirates FA Cup YouTube channel, Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Draw details: The winner of Tottenham’s clash against Everton will be designated ball number ‘6’. Their opponents in the final eight will be decided based on the ball number they are paired with while the number that comes out first of any pairing will play at home.

Round dates: The quarter-final clashes have been earmarked for Saturday 20 March 2021, with the semi-finals on Saturday 17 April 2021 and the final on Saturday 15 May 2021.
