According to The Athletic’s Sam Lee, Tottenham’s clash against Manchester City could be rearranged to the end of the season.
Any hopes that Spurs would run away with fourth place after their morale-boosting win at Villa Park was ended at Craven Cottage on Saturday, with the Lilywhites being handed a stern reality check.
The North Londoners still have work to do to get into next season’s Champions League and their quest to do so is not helped by the difficult end they have to the campaign.
Spurs have a particularly difficult April as they make trips to both St James’ Park and the London Stadium while also hosting Man City and Arsenal before they make a trip to Anfield at the start of May.

Tottenham vs Man City may now be rescheduled
Sam Lee has now revealed that Tottenham’s end to the season could get even more tricky if City make it to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
With Pep Guardiaol’s men reaching the FA Cup semis, their schedule is extremely congested and should they also make it to the last four of the Champions League, Lee says their trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be rearranged to the penultimate game of the season.

Spurs could theoretically find themselves in the position of handing Arsenal the Premier League title with a win over Man City at home so late in the season. Hopefully, it does not come to that and the Gunners fall off well beforehand.
