The Telegraph have revealed that Antonio Conte has given the green light for Dele Alli to be moved on from Tottenham in the January transfer window.
All of Dele’s Premier League starts this season have come under Nuno Espirito Santo, with the midfielder’s only start under Conte coming in Spurs’ 2-1 loss in the Europa Conference League against NS Mura last month.
The Italian has spoken in glowing terms about the 25-year-old’s talent and Football Insider reported two weeks ago that former MK Dons man is desperate to resurrect his Spurs career under the 52-year-old.
However, The Telegraph have now revealed that Conte has now given his consent for Alli to be sold when the transfer window reopens.
The midfielder is expected to be made available by Spurs next month so that he can revive his career away from North London.
It is said that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would ideally want a transfer fee for the midfielder but a loan move with an obligation or option to buy is also said to be a possibility.
Dele was heavily linked with a loan move to PSG last January which would have seen him reunite with former manager Mauricio Pochettino, only for the switch to fail to materialise (The Guardian).

It could be in the best interest of all parties for Dele to have a fresh start away from Spurs.
I believe there is truth to this report as I do not see the 25-year-old as being a natural fit for Conte’s system.
He also looks extremely unlikely to force his way into the starting eleven ahead of January.
