With Emerson Royal expected to complete a switch to AC Milan sooner rather than later, some reports over recent days have continued to suggest that Tottenham may enter the market for another right-back to replace the Brazilian (Football Insider).
One man who has been repeatedly mooted as a target for Spurs is Vanderson, who is thought to be valued at around £40m by Monaco (Football.London)
The 23-year-old wing-back is also reportedly on the radar of Man Utd, who view him as a potential replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka (Sky Sports).
Napoli enter the race for Vanderson
It turns out that Tottenham may now have even more competition to contend with for Vanderson, who has now emerged as a target for Napoli.
Area Napoli explain that Conte plans to Giovanni Di Lorenzo as a right-sided centre-back in a back three next season and thus wants to sign the Monaco star to play as a right wing-back.
However, the publication adds that the Serie A giants are only expected to make a move for the Brazil international in the final few days of the transfer window.
