Report: Arsenal looking at two Spurs targets to potentially replace Arteta

The Daily Mail have reported that Arsenal are now looking at two Tottenham targets in case they need to part ways with Mikel Arteta.

Despite this, the report does claim that Arteta is safe in his job for the moment, but could be in danger early next season if things do not improve.

The Mail say that, if Arteta was to be sacked, Arsenal would likely look at the same kind of managers currently being linked with Spurs, with a particular focus on Ralf Rangnick and Rafael Benitez.

Rangnick was linked to the Tottenham hot seat at the beginning of the month thanks to his impressive work at RB Leipzig and a pretty outstanding CV.

Meanwhile, former Newcastle and Liverpool man, Benitez was reported to be a Spurs target last month as they continue their search for Jose Mourinho’s replacement.

However, if Spurs are currently on the lookout and Arsenal and sticking with Arteta for now, the Lilywhites could have the upper hand in any race.
