Tuttosport have now named Arsenal as one of the leading contenders to win the race for rumoured Tottenham target Lloyd Kelly.
Various outlets over the last few weeks have revealed that Spurs are continuing to keep close tabs on Kelly after failing to get a deal for the centre-back over the line during the summer transfer window (GiveMeSport).
Last week, Fabrizio Romano revealed that AC Milan and Juventus had entered the race for the 25-year-old’s signature while Football Insider reported a couple of days ago that Liverpool had also set their sights on the player ahead of January.

If TuttoSport’s latest update is to be believed, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund have also joined the long list of clubs vying for Kelly’s signature.
The report primarily focuses on Juve’s interest in the Bournemouth man, stating that the Englishman ticks several boxes for the Old Lady since he is left-footed, his contract situation and his ‘very affordable’ salary.
However, the publication adds that the Serie A giants face plenty of competition from the Premier League for Kelly’s signature, with Arsenal and Liverpool ‘above all’.
Spurs Web Opinion
Spurs might be able to make a persuasive case to Kelly that he is more likely to get regular games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium than he would at Arsenal or Liverpool.
However, my suspicion is that Bournemouth will want to hold on to the 25-year-old until next summer in order to give themselves the best chance of surviving in the Premier League.
