Football Transfers have revealed that Arsenal are ready to step up their pursuit of Athletic Club Bilbao star Nico Williams, who has been linked with a move to Tottenham over recent months.

Willaims has had an outstanding season at Bilbao, playing a key role in the Basque club’s historic Copa del Rey triumph this season, and it has been widely suggested that the winger could make the step up to a bigger club this summer.
Tottenham are rumoured to be one of the clubs interested in a move for the 21-year-old, who is thought to have a release clause of €50m (£42.8m), according to The Telegraph.
The likes of Aston Villa (GiveMeSport), Barcelona (Football Espana) and Liverpool (HITC) have also been credited with an interest in the Spain international and Arsenal have now allegedly become the latest to enter the race.

Arsenal make advances for Nico Williams
Football Transfers have suggested that the Gunners have not only joined the queue for Willaims but are now ‘stepping up their pursuit’ of the player.
The report says that Mikel Arteta wants to add more firepower to his already formidable forward line and has identified the Athletic Club star as a target.
In fact, the publication asserts that Arsenal are prepared to meet the winger’s release clause while Paris Saint-Germain have also indicated their intentions to do the same.
Spurs Web Opinion
Arsenal are the bigger draw than Spurs, given that they have been competing for major honours lately. However, the Lilywhites offer Williams a better chance of regular game time as the youngster would be competing with two world-class wingers in the form of Martinelli and Saka at the Emirates Stadium.
