The Sun claim that Aston Villa have now expressed an interest in landing Giovani Lo Celso from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Lo Celso has struggled to get game time under Ange Posetecoglou and The Sun have now become the latest outlet to back the midfielder, who has just a year left on his contract, to depart the North London side during this summer’s transfer window.

The report backs up what we have heard from Spanish sources over the past couple of weeks by stating that Real Betis are keen on re-signing the Argentine.
However, it is explained that the La Liga side may not have the funds to finance the operation, thus opening the door for Villa.

It is revealed that Unai Emery is a big fan of Lo Celso, having worked with the Spurs star during his loan spell at Villarreal in 2022, with the Spanish coach now wanting to reunite with the player at Villa Park.
