AS have revealed that Atletico Madrid are now plotting a move for Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy, who is rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar.
Guirassy is having an outstanding season at the MHP Arena, with 27 goals to his name across all competitions so far this season and the striker continues to be heavily linked with a move away this summer.
Just two weeks ago, HITC asserted that Tottenham are still keeping an eye on the 27-year-old ahead of the summer, with the report adding that the Lilywhites expect to face quite a bit of competition for the striker from fellow Premier League sides.
Atletico Madrid and Spurs both like Serhou Guirassy
AS have now suggested that Atletico are keen on bolstering their forward line this summer and have now set their sights on Guirassy.
The report says that Diego Simeone is a big fan of the Stuttgart star and the fact that he has a release clause of €17.5m (£15m) makes him an attractive option for the La Liga side.
The publication makes no mention of Tottenham but asserts that Atletico may face competition for the centre-forward from the likes of Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Manchester United.

There are going to be more than a dozen clubs after Guirassy this summer, given his low release clause. It is anyone’s guess at the moment where the Guinea international will end up this summer and one would not be surprised if he demands a bumper contract in order to sign on the dotted line.
