Report: Attacker with 24 goals and assist this season has been offered to Spurs

90 min have claimed that Paulo Dybala has been offered to Tottenham Hotspur and several other Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

Dybala has had an excellent first season at AS Roma since his switch to the Italian capital last summer, with 16 goals and eight assists to his name so far this campaign (Transfermarkt).

However, the attacker’s future remains up in the air as there is a release clause in his contract which can be activated this summer.

Fabrizio Romano explained last week that Italian clubs would have to pay €20m (£17.6m) to activate the clause, in which case Roma could ‘cancel’ it by activating a salary rise from €3.8m (£3.3m) to €6m (£5.2m) for the player.

However, he added that foreign clubs would only have to pay €12m (£10.5m) to activate the clause and in that scenario, the decision would be left with Dybala himself.

90 min have now confirmed the existence of such a clause and added that the Argentine’s representatives have made sure that Premier League clubs are aware of it.

The report states that Dyabla’s potential availability has been communicated to Spurs, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle United.

It is not often that a player of Dybala’s quality is available for £10.5m. So, plenty of clubs would likely be lining up to sign the 29-year-old if he communicates a desire to leave Roma.

Tottenham are certainly in need of reinforcements to their forward line, with Moura and Danjuma on their way out this summer.
