Report: Attacking target prefers Spurs over Arsenal for one key reason

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Real Madrid’s young attacking midfielder, Dani Ceballos, this summer.

El Desmarque claims that Spurs are willing to pay £45m to sign the Spanish playmaker in this transfer window.

Ceballos is currently playing and shining for Spain at the Under 21 European Championships, even scoring a wonder goal against Italy last week.

AS claim that Spurs are going head to head against Arsenal to secure the signature of the Real Madrid prospect, but Ceballos may have something to say about that battle.

El Confidencial now claim that Ceballos prefers a move to the Lilywhites because he is excited to play under Mauricio Pochettino.

The Sun reported last week that Real Madrid were preparing an offer of £45m plus Ceballos for Christian Eriksen this summer.

Eriksen has made it clear that he is seeking a move to a big club this transfer window, telling the Danish media that he is ready for a step up and a new challenge (Ekstra Bladet).

Spurs Web Opinion:

I haven’t seen Ceballos play much, but I have seen plenty of good things written about him. My only concern is that he would not be my first choice signing, well behind the likes of Maddison, Lo Celso, Van de Beek, and co.
