TEAMtalk have revealed that the race for rumoured Tottenham target Amadou Onana is heating up ahead of the summer transfer window.
Onana has been one of the few shining lights in a struggling Everton side over the last years, with the midfielder’s reputation continuing to grow in light of consistent displays at Goodison Park.
Paul O’Keefe, who regularly breaks reliable information about the ongoings at Hotspur Way, revealed a little over a week ago that the Lilywhites are plotting a summer move for the 22-year-old.
Barcelona and Chelsea both like Amadou Onana
TEAMtalk have now said that Barcelona and Chelsea are also quite keen on landing Onana, with the West London club seeing the Belgian international as someone who ‘ticks all the boxes’ for their midfield.
The report makes no mention of Totteham’s interest but asserts that Everton face ‘a huge fight’ to hang on to the player as the interest in his services continues to intensify.
However, it is alleged that the Toffees would not let the former Lille man leave on a discount and are expected to demand at least £60m for him.

Onana is a talented youngster and would perhaps be much better if he were surrounded by better players. However, £60m is quite a steep asking price and one would imagine that Tottenham would rather sign someone like Ederson for that kind of fee.
