According to a report in Kicker (as relayed by Bavarian Football Works), Barcelona are prioritising a move for Everton midfielder Amadou Onana, who is thought to be on Tottenham’s radar.
Onana, who has been a fixture in Everton’s midfield since his switch to Goodison Park from Lille in 2022, is thought to be of interest to several clubs, including Spurs.
Paul O’Keefe, who regularly breaks reliable information about the ongoings at Hotspur Way, revealed earlier this month that the Lilywhites are plotting a summer move for the 22-year-old.
Last week, TEAMtalk revealed that Tottenham are expected to face competition for the midfielder’s signature from both Chelsea and Barcelona.

Kicker have now reported that the Catalan giants are looking for a number six to replace Sergio Busquets, with Onana said to be one of the names on their wishlist.
In fact, it is claimed that the Everton man has now emerged as the La Liga club’s top midfield target ahead of the summer window.

The publication adds that while Barca will find it difficult to meet the Tofees’ asking price for the player, given their financial situation, they are considering offering players to the Merseyside club to bring down the cost of the operation.
