Report: Barcelona ready to offer two rumoured Spurs targets to land Ndombele

Barcelona are willing to offer Phillipe Coutinho or Nelson Samedo to Tottenham in exchange for Tanguy Ndombele, according to a report by The Independent.

Ndombele has not featured in Tottenham’s first two matches since the resumption of the PemierLeague and there have been reports of a falling out with Jose Mourinho, although the Spurs head coach has denied those claims (Football.London).

L’Equipe claim that the North Londoners are already in talks with Barcelona over a possible transfer for the French international this summer.

The Independent now claim that while the Catalan giants are interested in signing Ndombele, they are only willing to offer a player exchange deal.

Due to their financial problems, Barca are said to be unwilling to pay anywhere close to the £55million that Spurs paid to Lyon to land the midfielder last summer, which the Lilywhites are said to be determined to recoup.

However, the La Liga champions are said to have offered Tottenham the chance to sign Coutinho, who has been linked with a loan move to Spurs, or Semedo, who is also said to be interesting Jose Mourinho’s side.

Spurs Web Opinion

Ndombele seems to be have become a world-beater in some Spurs fans’ estimations without actually doing much since signing for us. If the Frenchman is not going to feature much until the end of the season (which looks probable), then I would take a swap deal with Coutinho as long as Jose wants the former Liverpool man.
