Spanish outlet AS has become the latest publication to talk up Barcelona’s interest in Sergio Reguilon, revealing that the La Liga giants see the Tottenham man as an ‘interesting option’ as they look for cover at left-back.

Barcelona are looking at Sergio Reguilon
A couple of days ago, Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas revealed that Barca had contacted Spurs about Reguilon’s availability.
The journalist claimed that Hasi Flick’s men have asked the North London club about the conditions for a possible deal for Reguilon but have not made an offer yet.
Barca’s interest in the left-back has now been confirmed by AS, who say that the Catalan giants are serious about a deal for Reguilon after learning that he is not in Ange Postecoglou’s plans at Tottenham.

Barcelona contact Sergio Reguilon’s representatives
The report explains that the La Liga side have even contacted the former Real Madrid’s entourage to find out if he would be open to a move to Camp Nou.
It is explained that Barca currently have just one natural left-back in Alejandro Balde and are thus looking for cover, with the Spurs man very much on their wishlist.
Given the experience that the 27-year-old has in Spanish football, he is seen as an ‘interesting option’ by the Blaugrana but only if ‘the price is right’.
Spurs Web Opinion
If I were in Reguilon’s shoes, I would prefer to move to a club where I would be the guaranteed first-choice left-back, which is not going to happen at Barca.
The Spaniard is theoretically approaching the peak years as a footballer and he needs to get back to playing regularly to get his career back on track.
