Report: Bayern, Liverpool and Atletico scouting rumoured Spurs target today

Turkish publication Fanatik have revealed that some of Europe’s biggest clubs are expected to send scouts to watch rumoured Tottenham target Kim Min-jae in action for Fenerbahce against Galatasaray today.

Kim was rumoured to be on Spurs’ radar as far back as two years ago (90 min) but the centre-back ended up moving to Fenerbahce last summer.

The South Korean has had a solid first season in Turkish football and Fotospor reported ahead of the January transfer window that the Lilywhites had been impressed with the 25-year-old’s performances for the Super Lig giants.

Portuguese journalist Pedro Sepulveda claimed last month that the Lilywhites had sent scouts to Turkey to watch the centre-back this season.

If Fanatik’s latest update to be believed, Spurs are by no means the only ones who are tracking Kim’s progress.

The report states that scouts from Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, Inter, Napoli, and Monaco will be present to watch the centre-back in Fenerbahce’s derby against Galatasaray.

Spurs might be in need of a cover for Eric Dier in the central sweeper role should Joe Rodon decide to push for a move this summer. Kim does seem to have the right characteristics to slot into that role but he remains unproven at the top level.
