Report: Bayern Munich player open to move to Tottenham

Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng is said to be flattered at the interest in which Tottenham Hotspur have shown for his services.

The German international will leave the Bundesliga giants at the end of the season when his contract expires which will bring the curtain down on a decade at the Allianz Arena (Sky Sports).

The 32-year-old will be available as a free agent with football journalist Christian Falk claiming on Twitter that the centre half can imagine a return to the Premier League, however no talks have been held by the player and the North London outfit.

Jose Mourinho has continually chopped and changed his central defensive pairing this season with Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier and Joe Rodon all having found themselves in and out of the side.

Boateng has made 34 appearances in all competitions this season for Bayern, who currently lead the Bundesliga table by seven points ahead of RB Leipzig (transfermarkt).
