Report: Bayern Munich star part of Tottenham’s three-man January shortlist

90 min have revealed that Tottenham want to sign another forward in January, with Bayern Munich’s Eric-Maxim Choupo Moting thought to be one of three players on the club’s radar.

The report explains that Antonio Conte is keen on bringing in another attacking option when the transfer window reopens, due to the injuries Spurs have had in their forward line.

The likes of Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison and Lucas Moura have all had spells on the injury table this season, with Conte being forced to deploy Ivan Perisic as a forward against Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.

90 min claim that Tottenham will look to add another striker to their squad and have identified three potential targets.

Choupo Moting, who has ten goals across all competitions for Julian Nageslmann’s side this season, is said to be one of the names on Tottenham’s wishlist.

Spurs are also said to be one of several Premier League sides who are monitoring Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz, whose contract at Ewood Park runs out next summer.

Additionally, it is asserted that Conte’s men are keeping a close eye on Memphis Depay, who is thought to be keen on returning to the Premier League.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not think Tottenham will be in the market for a centre-forward as Richarlison is more than capable of playing centrally if Kane needs a rest. I believe Conte will want a winger who can cover for Kulusevski, given that Bryan Gil is expected to be loaned out. I would not be surprised if Spurs reignite their interest in Zaniolo in January as the 23-year-old has not signed a new deal with Roma.
