The Times have revealed that Bayern Munich have agreed to pay a big chunk of the transfer fee for Harry Kane upfront, thus significantly boosting Tottenham’s coffers.
After a series of twists and turns, it appears as if Kane’s move to Bayern is now finally expected to go ahead, with the striker set to soon complete his medical at Munich before signing on the dotted line (Fabrizio Romano).
It was reported by The Independent on Thursday that the fee could even go beyond £110m if certain achievable add-ons are met, with the publication adding that the North London club could receive as much as £80m of the fee upfront.

The Times have also backed up that claim, explaining that a large chunk of the fee will be received by Spurs upfront.
The report adds that this was one of Tottenham’s main wishes, which is why the negotiations were dragged out over the last month.
It is explained that this leaves Spurs with plenty of cash to spend during the remainder of the transfer window.

We will likely see Tottenham go on a massive spending spree over the final few weeks of the transfer window. However, one issue that the Lilywhites will face is the fact that clubs would be aware that we are now sitting on a huge pile of cash and will thus insist that we pay a premium for their players.
