Report: Borussia Dortmund join race to sign £21.3m-rated Spurs target

France Football have reported that German giants, Borussia Dortmund, have entered the race to sign Spurs linked goalkeeper, Mike Maignan this summer. The report also notes that AC Milan are an interested party when it comes to the French keeper.

It has previously been reported that Tottenham assistant head coach, Joao Sacramento, wants to club to sign Lille’s keeper as a replacement for Hugo Lloris ( L’Equipe as relayed by GFFN).

Hugo Lloris will enter the final 12 months of his contract in North London at the end of this season.

Both Spurs’ assistant coach and goalkeeping coach, Nuno Santos, both worked with Maignan during their time at Lille and are keen on working with him again.

The 25-year-old is also entering the final year of his deal this summer and is apparently available for £21.3m (France Football).

However, L’Equipe reported that Maignan would need assurances that he would be Tottenham’s number one next season before agreeing on a move.
