Report: Bournemouth submit bid to take Tottenham player on loan this season

Football Insider have reported that Bournemouth have now submitted a bid to take Cameron Carter-Vickers on loan from Tottenham for the 2020/21 season.

Carter-Vickers has been heavily involved in Tottenham’s pre-season preparations, training with the first team and appearing across every friendly fixture.

The USA central defender enjoyed a successful stint on loan at Luton Town for the second half of the 2019/20 campaign and it appears that he has earned some admirers.

Bournemouth, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, reportedly want to take the 22-year-old on loan in order to bolster their defence.

It is also said that Spurs are looking to offload Carter-Vickers before the window shuts on October 5, with Luton Town keen but perhaps not able to meet the Lilywhite’s permanent price tag.

The defender is now in the final year of his contract and Tottenham value him at around £5m this summer.

Carter-Vickers has 92 Championship appearances to his name across five loan spells, despite only featuring four times for his boyhood Tottenham (Wikipedia).
