Bournemouth reportedly win race to sign Tottenham player

A report has now revealed that current Tottenham academy youngster, Ferdinand Okoh, looks set to join Bournemouth after the Cherries won the race for his signature (All Nigeria Soccer).

Okoh only joined the Spurs set-up in the past year after the Lilywhites snapped him up from their London rivals, West Ham United.

However, Okoh has now reportedly been told that he will not be offered a scholarship to become a full-time U18 player for Tottenham next year.

As such, the teenager recently embarked on trial periods with both Bournemouth and Stoke City, with the former winning the race to sign him.

Okoh will now join up with the Cherries for the start of the 2020/21 season, signing a two-year scholarship deal.

After his short spell in North London with Spurs, Okoh will be hoping to kick on with his third Premier League club in as many years.

Tottenham’s academy currently boasts a number of bright sparks, including Troy Parrott, Kion Etete, Dennis Cirkin, Malachi Fagan-Walcott, and more.
