Report: Brighton are interested in signing Tottenham 22-year-old

Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate, Kyle Walker-Peters, would have been relishing the start of the new Premier League season under Mauricio Pochettino.

Juan Foyth was banned and Serge Aurier was nowhere to be seen, with Kieran Trippier sold to Atletico Madrid, Walker-Peters was the only remaining right-back.

He started the first three Premier League matches before being pulled off injured against Newcastle United in the 1-0 defeat (TransferMarkt).

He has not been seen on the pitch in the league since then, with just two appearances on the bench at the very start of Mourinho’s reign.

However, it seems as if the 22-year-old is not in the plans of the new gaffer, as he has been left out of the squad for the past six Premier League matches.

It has now been reported by the Sun that Brighton are keen on signing the Tottenham academy graduate. The report makes it sound like Brighton want to buy, rather than loan.
