Report: Bundesliga club value Tottenham star at £44m ahead of summer

90 min have claimed that Bayern Munich value Harry Kane at just €50m (£44.3m) but are aware that Tottenham would want a much higher fee for the striker in the summer.

Kane’s future at Spurs looks increasingly in doubt, with the Lilywhites facing a battle on their hands to finish in the top four this season.

The striker will be into the final 12 months of his contract in June (Transfermarkt) and has been linked with moves to both Manchester United and Bayern (Telegraph).

90 min now reveal that despite tying Eric Choupo-Moting down to a new deal, Bayern intend to push ahead with a move for Kane in the summer.

The report states that the Bundesliga giants want to start next season with both the Cameroonian and England captain on their books.

It is explained that Julian Nagelsmann’s side only value the 29-year-old at €50m (£44.3m), which is the same fee that they got from Barcelona for Robert Lewandowski last summer.

However, the Bavarians are said to recognise that they would have to pay a considerably higher fee since Kane is five years younger than the Pole.

Spurs Web Opinion

I cannot see Kane leaving the Premier League before he breaks Shearer’s record.

However, one would have expected Bayern to pull out of the race for the 29-year-old if they had not received any encouragement from the player’s entourage or from Spurs.

I am sure Tottenham would prefer to sell him to the Bundesliga club rather than a domestic rival.
