Report: Bundesliga duo enter the race for Spurs player

Sky Sports are reporting that Hertha Berlin and Hoffenheim have both expressed interest in signing Ryan Sessegnon on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old has failed to make the matchday squad in any of Tottenham’s opening seven games of the season despite the extremely congested fixture list that Jose Mourinho’s men have endured.

Reports indicated that the Lilywhites are willing to loan the youngster out after securing the services of Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid (Daily Mail).

Previous reports claimed that Brighton, Southampton, Burnley and Ajax were all monitoring the situation and interesting in taking the England Under-21 international on a loan deal (Telegraph).

Sky Sports claims that Hertha Berlin and Hoffenheim are both looking for short-term reinforcements to their squad and have identified Sessegnon as a target.

The report suggests that while Celtic and Brighton previously showed interest in the former Fulham man, they are no longer in the running for his signature.
