Report: Burnley eyeing move for Spurs striker

Despite recent injuries to Harry Kane and Dele Alli, Mauricio Pochettino has not named out of favor striker Vincent Janssen in the matchday squads in Spurs’ recent games.

Pochettino has confirmed that Janssen has no route back to the first team and that the club are looking at selling him.

Janssen’s agent has also come and out and said that Spurs have made up their minds to sell the Dutch international and that despite the striker attracting a lot of interest, they haven’t been able to get a deal for him over the line.

The 24-year-old is currently playing with the U23s in an attempt to get himself match fit again.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Burnley have now registered their interest in signing the former AZ Alkmaar striker this month.

Burnley currently find themselves in a relegation scrap and they are said to be looking for attacking reinforcements to help them in their quest to avoid the drop.

The report claims that Sean Dyche has identified Janssen as one of the players who could help the club achieve their goal.
