Report: Burnley weighing up £15m move for Spurs striker

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Burnley may be weighing up a £15m bid for Tottenham’s outcast striker Vincent Janssen.

Sean Dyche is apparently keen to bolster his attacking options for the remainder of the season, and Janssen would present an easy purchase opportunity due to his situation at Spurs.

Janssen recovered from a foot injury a number of weeks ago, but has only appeared for the U23 side since, scoring one and setting up three.

Since arriving in the summer of 2016, Janssen has only managed six goals for Spurs, despite having an impressive return at his old club AZ Alkmaar.

Tottenham will surely only be too glad to see the back of Janssen, whilst recuperating the majority of the fee they originally paid for him.

The Daily Mail also claim Spurs would accept an offer of £15m for the forward.

Spurs may be able to use this money to secure a signing of their own, if they get this move over the line fast enough.
