Report: Buying club think Spurs’ asking price for 23-year-old is ‘very reasonable’

Vamos Mi Sevilla FC have claimed that Sevilla could re-sign Bryan Gil for a cut-price fee from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Gil came through the ranks of the Sevilla academy and Tottenham signed him from the La Liga side back in 2021 after the winger’s breakthrough season on loan at Eibar.

The 23-year-old was loaned back to the Andalusian club for the second half of last season but he has found game time hard to come by at Spurs under Ange Postecoglou after returning to Hotspur Way last summer.

Sevilla see Bryan Gil as a good investment

Vamos Mi Sevilla FC say that Sevilla want to sign young players at an affordable price this summer and are looking at various options for the wide areas.

Gil and Ansu Fati, who is currently on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion from Barcelona, are named as two of the names on the Spanish side’s shortlist.

It is alleged that Tottenham have already made peace with the fact that they would have to accept a loss on the winger and would be willing to sell him for just €6m (£5m) this summer.

This figure is allegedly seen as a ‘very reasonable price’ by Quique Sanchez Flores’ men, who are considering a move to re-sign the Spain international.

While Gil will still have two years left on his contract this summer, the fact that he has hardly played this season means that Tottenham cannot expect more than £10m for the youngster.
