Report: Celtic among the clubs which Spurs striker has snubbed ahead of next season

Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott has attracted substantial interest over a loan move away from North London next season.

The Independent claim that the 18-year-old snubbed an approach from Scottish champions Celtic and will instead join Championship outfit Millwall.

Preston, Swansea, Stoke and Bournemouth had also registered an interest in the Republic of Ireland international, who instead wanted to make the switch to the New Den where he believes that he will fit in well under the management of Gary Rowett.

The report claims that Parrott was immediately impressed when he met with Rowett and has been left convinced that he will be presented with the chance to play regular first team football which he is desperately seeking to prove to Jose Mourinho that he has what it takes to play Premier League football.

Millwall finished the season just two points outside of the Championship play-offs and are hoping that Parrott can prove to be the forward who can give them the cutting edge in the final third of the pitch.
