Tottenham Hotspur may be in for some January business this season after their poor start to the campaign, with just three Premier League wins out of 12.
One team not struggling so far this season is West Bromwich Albion, who currently sit top of the Championship table.
However, the Daily Mail have now reported that West Brom may sell 19-year-old starlet Nathan Ferguson as early as January.
Tottenham and Crystal Palace are both said to be interested in the defender, with Ferguson’s contract expiring at the end of the season.
It could be a case of sell in January or watch the player leave on a free for West Brom. The report states that the Baggies are concerned Ferguson will let his contract run down.
Therefore, West Brom may decide that cashing in when the winter window opens is the best decision, although they will be unlikely to get full price from Daniel Levy.
