Report: Chelsea offer rumoured Spurs target to PSG for £27million

According to Telefoot journalist, Julien Maynard, Chelsea have offered rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Kurt Zouma to Paris Saint-Germain.

Zouma has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge this season with Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen establishing themselves as the first-choice partnership and with big things expected of academy graduate Fikayo Tomori.

Jose Mourinho is the man who bought Zouma to Chelsea back in 2014, and it has been reported that the Spurs boss is now keen on reuniting with him in North London (RMC Sport).

It was reported last month that the Blues are willing to sell the French international for just £25million this summer with the club keen to balance their books (The Mirror).

Maynard now reveals that the Chelsea are willing to allow Zouma to join PSG for €30 million (£27million).

He claims that Thomas Tuchel likes the 25-year-old’s profile but that there have been no negotiations between the parties.

Two unnamed English clubs are also reportedly following Zouma’s situation and have informed Chelsea of their interest in the former Everton loanee.

Spurs Web Opinion

I am not convinced that Zouma is good enough to be a first-choice centre-half for clubs with title or Champions League aspirations. However, I believe he can potentially be a solid squad option to have. At the reported price, I would not be surprised if the club tested the water with an offer.
