Report: Chelsea ready to offer 23-year-old to Spurs as part of Kane deal

The Telegraph have revealed that Chelsea are ready to offer Tammy Abraham to Tottenham Hotspur as a part of a deal to sign Harry Kane.

New Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo has already said that he has no doubts about Kane’s future, insisting that the striker is still a Spurs player.

However, the 28-year-old continues to be linked heavily with a move away from the North London club.

While Manchester City have been established as the front runners for the England captain’s signature, Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the Spurs star.

The Telegraph now claim that Chelsea value Abraham at £40m and are looking to offload him before they sign a new striker.

Thomas Tuchel’s men have reportedly offered the 23-year-old to both Spurs and Inter Milan due to their interest in Kane and Romelu Lukaku.

The report reveals that Arsenal and West Ham have shown interest in snapping up Abraham but adds that the Hammers cannot afford the Blues’ current asking price for the England international.

Spurs Web Opinion

If we refuse to listen to offers for Kane, I doubt Chelsea would be willing to sell Abraham to us in a separate deal. The 23-year-old would also likely not want to come to Spurs if Kane stays.

I rate Abraham very highly and I believe he has been treated harshly by Tuchel. So, I am desperately hoping that Arsenal do not snap him up as they could have a gem on their hands.
