Tottenham Hotspur are hot on the trail of Antonio Nusa right now, but Chelsea are also keen on the Club Brugge winger. However, the Blues are expected to struggle to beat Spurs to the signing at this stage.
Spurs may have already brought in Timo Werner to fill in on the left side of the attack for the rest of the season, but it seems Ange Postecoglou is already planning for the future.
Antonio Nusa is an 18-year-old Norwegian starlet who has been catching the eye in the Belgian Pro League, and the latest update from The Athletic suggests Spurs are eyeing a €30m (£25.75m) for the winger.
It is thought the Lilywhites would allow Nusa to remain with Club Brugge for the rest of the season as part of a loan deal similar to the ones involving Pape Sarr and Destiny Udogie in recent years.

Spurs would likely beat Chelsea in the race for Antonio Nusa
Whether Spurs can pull this deal off at this time remains to be seen, and they are likely to face competition from London rivals, Chelsea, for a player The Guardian describe as “one of the most exciting young prospects” in world football.
Brugge turned down an approach from Chelsea last summer. While the Blues have “maintained an interest” in Nusa since then, the belief is that Chelsea “would have to work hard to overtake Spurs in the race to sign him.”
That is because Spurs have been monitoring Nusa for quite some time, and have taken “positive steps” to make sure they are in “pole position” to complete the transfer.

Chelsea are a big club, but you can’t imagine any player looking at what’s going on there right now and believing it would be the right move for their career. Spurs and Postecoglou are putting together such an exciting project, and Antonio Nusa would fit in perfectly.
