Report: Player’s agent said to be in London today to secure exit

Report have claimed that Christian Eriksen’s agent is now back in London today in order to finally secure an exit away from Spurs (FcIN – as relayed by Daily Star)

Tottenham are said to be happy for the Great Dane to part ways with the club, as long as they recoup some cash for their troubles.

Eriksen is in the final six months of his contract, meaning that Spurs wouldn’t receive a penny if they let it run down until the summer, with him leaving on a free transfer.

Since the start of January, Eriksen has been permitted to talk to foreign clubs about pre-contract agreements.

Inter Milan, Spurs, and Eriksen are all said to be keen on striking a deal before the end of the month, with the fee reported to be around £15m, although Levy is holding out for more.

However, the end could be nigh for Eriksen in North London, as his agent, Martin Schoots, is back in London to complete the final paperwork over an exit.

Spurs Web Opinion:

This deal suits all involved, however, it will be sad to see him go. I can’t help but feel that he was on the lookout for a step up, but has actually taken a step down to go to Inter Milan.
