Report claims attacker linked with Spurs could be Harry Kane replacement

As reported earlier this week, RMC Sport have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are currently in talks with Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram.

However, in a report by Football London, it has now been suggested that Thuram could be coming in as Harry Kane’s replacement this summer.

Kane’s future has been the subject of much speculation over the last few months, with the striker reportedly attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.

While Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Tottenham maintain the striker is not for sale, other reports have revealed that the North London club are compiling a list of potential replacements for the striker, including Victor Osimhen, Danny Ings and Ollie Watkins.

The RMC report claimed that Tottenham have made the Gladbach star, who is the son of former World Cup winner Lillian Thuram, ‘their priority’ this summer.

The report adds that the club are already talking with the 23-year-old, who scored 11 goals and registered 12 assists last season, and that ‘discussions have advanced’ over the past few days.
