Report claims club have no interest in appointing Nuno Espirito Santo

Sky Sports have moved dismissed speculation that Nuno Espirito Santo is attracting interest from Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

Reports from Turkey had suggested that Fenerbahce were keen on the 47-year-old (Radyo Gol) which saw former striker Gary Lineker later suggest that Santo had snubbed a move to North London.

The 47-year-old left Wolves by mutual consent at the end of the season and has been heavily tipped to be at the top of Tottenham’s managerial shortlist.

Fabio Paratici has finally arrived in London to take up his role as managing director of football at Spurs and is set to look to progress talks further with Nuno this week.

Tottenham are said to be confident of having their new head coach in place before the players who have not been on international duty return to pre-season training.
