Report claims Daniel Levy has had a change of heart over Dele Alli’s future

According to RMC Sport, Daniel Levy has come around to the idea of allowed Dele Alli join Paris Saint-Germain on loan until the end of the season.

The Athletic reported on Monday that Alli was desperate to reunite with Mauricio Pochettino in Paris and that Jose Mourinho was not opposed to letting him leave.

It was suggested that the transfer depends on whether or not Levy gives the green light for it to go ahead.

RMC Sport claim that the Spurs chairman is more open to the idea of letting the 24-year-old join PSG than he was previously due to the England international making his desire clear to leave North London.

However, the report reveals that a deal has not been agreed and the saga could drag on until the final hours of the transfer window.

It is suggested that Levy wants to find a replacement for Alli before letting him leave, with Christian Eriksen being one of the options being considered by Spurs.

RMC Sport state that although a deal for Eriksen will prove complicated, the North Londoners have not given up on the possibility of re-signing the Dane.

Spurs Web Opinion

Everything about the Dele to PSG saga suggests that it will drag on until deadline day and likely be completed in the final hours before the window slams shut. However, I am sceptical of whether we will bring in a replacement, particularly considering our issues in fulfilling the homegrown and foreign-trained criteria for the Europa League.
