Report claims exactly when Spurs fans can expect to see Gareth Bale return to action

Tottenham Hotspur fans were left overjoyed when the news broke last month that Gareth Bale would be returning to the club.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy was said to have once again showed his razor sharp negotiating skills when he managed to successfully reduce the loan fee for the Welshman by £1million after his medical revealed he would not be fit for a month (The Evening Standard.)

Bale was carrying a knee injury which he suffered while on international duty and was picked up by the club’s medical staff.

The Telegraph have claimed that the 31-year-old is set to take to the field for the first time since his return for the London derby against West Ham United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, October 18th.

Bale is said to have been making progress in training with his team-mates this week as he steps up his recovery.

Should he be it, it first time in which Bale would have played at the club’s new state of the art stadium.
