Report claims Gareth Bale has put his Madrid home up for sale

There seems to be plenty of speculation doing the rounds over Gareth Bale’s rumoured return to Spurs, with some reports suggesting that a transfer is imminent.

According to reports, the Lilywhites are working on a season-long loan deal that would see the club pay half of the winger’s £600,000-a-week wages, with Real Madrid subsidising the other half (The Athletic).

There was more good news for Spurs fans on Wednesday morning as it was reported that the winger had left the Real Madrid training ground after just 20 minutes (talkSPORT).

Tutto Mercato Web have now revealed what could be the biggest hint yet from the Los Blancos star that he is on his way out of the Spanish capital.

They report that Bale has put his house in Madrid for sale amidst the negotiations over his future.

It is said that he has also decided to give up money and severance payments from the La Liga champions in order to get his career back on track, with Real Madrid said to be over the moon with his decision.

While the report asserts that Spurs are “serious” in their attempt to re-sign Bale, there is no indication that a deal has been finalised as of yet.

Spurs Web Opinion

I was always skeptical about whether Bale would have the hunger to prove himself in the Premier League again but multiple sources are now reporting that the Welshman is pushing for the Spurs move. That would suggest that he is keen to prove his doubters wrong. A season-long loan would be a perfect deal for us as it comes with very little risk.
