Report claims it is ‘unlikely’ Tottenham will sign both of these top targets

If the reports are to be believed this summer, then Tottenham certainly mean business in the transfer window after their Champions League final appearance last season.

Unfortunately, links and rumours have not yet translated into purchases for the North London club, as they remain signing-less for the last 16 months.

However, the BBC have reported this month that Tottenham had a bid for Giovani Lo Celso turned down, with the Real Betis man said to be a top target for the Lilywhites.

Sky Sports have also reported that Tottenham are in talks with Lyon over the sale of powerhouse midfield man Tanguy Ndombele, as a likely replacement for Mousa Dembele.

Reports suggest that Real Betis want £70m for Lo Celso (Express), while Lyon want £63m for Ndombele (Sky Sports), both of which would shatter Tottenham’s current club record signing.

The Express have now claimed that it is unlikely Spurs will purchase both of these players this summer, despite the success of last campaign.
