Report claims Mauricio Pochettino could attempt to sign four Spurs stars for PSG

With Mauricio Pochettino reportedly on the verge of being appointed the next manager of Paris Saint-Germain, there has been plenty of speculation about the Argentine raiding his former club for players.

Dele Alli’s name is the one that has cropped up most frequently, with the out-of-favour Tottenham midfielder reported to be a January target for the Parisians.

Eurosport have now claimed that Pochettino could also attempt to sign three other players from Tottenham in the near future.

They reveal that club captain Hugo Lloris, former PSG man Serge Aurier and midfielder Harry Winks, could all be subject to interest from the Ligue 1 giants soon.

Additionally, it is suggested that the former Tottenham boss could look to reunite with Christian Eriksen in January.

PSG are reportedly considering offering Leandro Paredes to Inter Milan in a swap deal to take Eriksen to the French capital.

The report also claims that Spurs will be more receptive of PSG’s interest in Alli than they were in the summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

This report reeks of baseless speculation. There is little chance of Tottenham letting Lloris leave given the form the Frenchman has been in over the calendar year. In addition, Pochettino did not have a particularly good relationship with Aurier during his time at Spurs as he continued to play Trippier ahead of the Ivorian even though the former Burnley man was carrying an injury. Mourinho has also has made it clear that Winks is not for sale during January.
