Report claims Pochettino is ready to sell these five players in January

Tottenham Hotspur’s squad has looked flat and stale so far this season, picking up just three wins from eleven games in all competitions.

These three wins have all come at home in the Premier League, with Spurs already being knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two side Colchester United.

Tottenham were also embarrassed in the Champions League as Bayern Munich battered them 7-2 at the new White Hart Lane.

Many have claimed that the Spurs squad, which has been together for some time now without major change, is due for refreshment.

The Times have now reported that Pochettino is looking to sell five first-team players in the January transfer window.

Christian Eriksen, who has under a year left on his contract is an obvious inclusion, as is Victor Wanyama who seems to have lost his spot within the Spurs ranks.

Eric Dier and Danny Rose are also included on the list, with Serge Aurier also making an appearance fresh off the back of his red card against Southampton and Bayern horror show.

Spurs Web Opinion:

The only one of these I could make a case for is Danny Rose as Tottenham do not have that much cover at left-back, they need homegrown players, and Rose still has a lot to offer the first-team. In my opinion, the rest can leave in order to raise money for new, young, and hungry signings.
