Report claims Spurs could be without influential midfielder for Chelsea clash

According to Football.London, Tottenham are likely to be without some of their key players for their all-important clash against Chelsea tomorrow.

The London derby is an extremely crucial game for both sides, with Chelsea sitting just three points behind Spurs, although the North Londoners do have a game in hand.

Tottenham head into the game without Harry Kane, who injured both his ankles against Liverpool and is not expected to be back for three weeks.

Football.London has now also confirmed that Sergio Reguilon and Giovani Lo Celso will not recover in time for Chelsea’s visit, with the pair expected to be sidelined for several more weeks.

The report reveals that Dele Alli is also doubtful for the London derby with the midfielder having suffered a ‘small tendon injury’.

Worryingly, it is said that Tanguy Ndombele is also doubtful for the Premier League encounter after coming off in the second half of the defeat against Brighton on Sunday with an injury.

There has been no official confirmation regarding Ndombele from Tottenham fans will be hoping Mourinho delivers a positive update in his press conference later this afternoon.

If we are to offer any sort of threat going forward against Chelsea, we desperately need Ndombele to play. The team already looks devoid of creativity without Kane and having Ndombele also ruled out will be a major blow.
