Report claims Spurs star feels he has been ‘left out to dry’ by the club

Harry Kane believes that he has been left out to dry by Tottenham Hotspur over his situaiton at the club, according to The Sun.

Kane is reported to believe that the club have done little to protect him from criticism following the media attention that was generated when he did not report for pre-season training on August 2nd.

The 28-year-old believed that he had an agreement for extended leave following his involvement at Euro 2020, while Spurs have not commented on the confusion which has opened the England international up to negative comments.

The striker is said to have once again reiterated his feelings to chairman Daniel Levy that he wants to leave the club.

Manchester City are still keen to bring him to the Eithad, but the Premier League champions are still way off meeting Levy’s £150million valuation of the marksman.

While Kane may reportedly be unhappy over the situation, he has been poorly advised throughout the whole saga.

Fans would have far more respect for him if he had come out and explained that he wanted to leave the club, rather than allowing the media to run riot over his future.

He was given a warm reception by the Spurs fans at Molineux and they deserve better treatment from the one they call ‘one of our own’.
