Aftonbladet have called on Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski to be made the captain of the Swedish national side.
Kulusevski has become a very important player for Tottenham since arriving from Juventus a little over two years ago, with the Swede being one of the leaders in the Spurs dressing room.
Although he has never worn the captain’s armband in his career for any of his clubs, the winger also has a leadership role for his national side, having been capped 35 times for his country so far this season.

Kulusevski for Sweden captain
Aftonbladet now report that Victor Lindelof is expected to continue wearing the armband for the next few games but they suggest that Kulusevski would be a better choice for the long-term.
They say that the Spurs star being made captain is a real possibility in the coming years, asserting that he is ‘more analytical and verbal’ than Lindelof.
In fact, the publication even adds that the 23-year-old would be the ‘perfect captain in a year or so’, naming Emil Forsberg and Robin Olsen as the other potential options for the role.
Spurs Web Opinion
Kulusevski can be a frustrating player to watch as he should be influencing games a lot more, given the ability he possesses. However, there is no doubt that the Swede is a selfless player and a natural leader, and he will certainly make an excellent captain for his national side.
